Please welcome Rev. Dr. Will Browne.
The Rev. Dr. William (Will) Browne, Pastor (Stated Supply) at First Presbyterian Church of Arcadia, FL, comes from multiple generations of Presbyterian clergy and an extended mission family. He grew up in India as a child of Presbyterian Church (USA) missionaries. His travels for the church have taken him to meet with partners in mission in 51 countries.
He graduated in Indian Studies and Political Science from the College of Wooster (B.A.). His Senior Study was on “Mahatma Gandhi and His Impact on Modern Indian Politics.” Will received degrees from Vanderbilt Divinity School (M.Div. in Pastoral Care and New Testament) and Princeton Theological Seminary (D.Min. in Administration and Leadership). Will is also grateful to have an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters from Keimyung University in Daegu, S Korea.
Will has served:
· two pastorates in Pennsylvania
o First Presbyterian Church of East Brady,
o Providence United Presbyterian Church, Scranton;
· as Associate Executive Presbyter of the Presbytery of Scioto Valley (Ohio);
· as Associate Director for Ecumenical Partnership in the Worldwide Ministries Division of the PCUSA;
· as Executive Director of the Medical Benevolence Foundation based in Houston, TX; and
· Interim Pastorates:
o Belle Valley Presbyterian Church in Erie, PA,
o South Frankfort Presbyterian Church in Frankfort, KY
o First Presbyterian Church in Arcadia, FL,
o First Presbyterian Church in Naples, FL.

Will is married to the Rev. Dr. Lal Hmingliani Browne who serves as Pastor for Congregational Care at the Church of the Palms in Sarasota, FL. They have a son, Francis, and daughter-in-law, Anne-Catherine, and fantastic granddaughters, Lilly and Emily.
Will loves the study, teaching and preaching of the Gospel. Will has a deep interest in missiology and ecclesiology, loves classical music and Bobbie McFerrin's jazz, reads fiction and loves movies with happy endings.
